It's still awesome! 03-13-2007: Our premiere issue is back from the printer and it looks AMAZING. You won't be disappointed. 03-03-2007: There was a problem with our "buy a single issue" Paypal button that would cause it to not work for some people. We've fixed it, so feel free to order a dozen copies of our premiere issue! 03-03-2007: We like building creative projects so much we've launched another one: The Indie Writer Challenge, where we'll be giving away cash prizes every month to writers whose work is ranked highest by our users. Sign up, submit, vote, have a good time! 02-26-2007: We're launching a second publication, Vortex Temporum, which will be an electronic-only magazine of historical fiction, alternate timeline, and "steampunk" stories. We'll be taking the time to put the first few issues together and get them ready for press. They don't mesh well with our workflow and at 1% of total submissions, we've decided to discontinue them. 10-26-2006: We've added a survey regarding artwork content, publication frequency, and other fun stuff. It's only six questions. Go ahead and fill it out. Two minutes, no personal info required. You could change the fate of the universe. 10-25-2006: We've redone the whole submission form and this time it looks like we've nailed it. Submit away! 10-23-2006:
We've made a slight modification to our submission form in the hope
of reducing spurious submit errors. We have had no trouble receiving
submissions sent in via the form. 10-16-2006 :We now have a web form that you can use to submit a short story for consideration. We will still accept email submissions for now, but the web form will soon be the only way that submissions are accepted. If you receive an error when using the form, please submit via email. 10-12-2006:
We've updated the artwork section of our guidelines
page and have acquired enough material to complete our first
issue (though we could use more artwork). Work has now begun
on filling the second issue. We also did a bit of math and settled
on our single-issue and yearly subscription prices. 9-28-2006:
Due to an excellent response we have decided to publish the magazine
quarterly rather than semi-annually. We have also published our privacy
policy. |
